Upcoming Circularis Biocluster Webinar
On 22 October 2025, the Circularis BioCluster — bringing together the EU-funded projects VALORISH, ONE EARTH, and PROMISEANG — will host an open webinar on
Food, feed and non-food products, such as pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. Economically viable for the production of proteins of microbial origin.
PROMISEANG’s goal is to formulate zero-waste procedures for producing proteins via biomass fermentation of non-conventional marine sources. It then looks to use the proteins to create nutritious, high-value, sustainable food, feed and non-food products.
Among others, PROMISEANG is expected to identify and increase the availability of high-quality proteins in the EU and reduce dependence on imports by mobilizing protein flows from alternative sources and delivering five high-quality protein extracts.
